- Dennis HWe had a short one night stay at the stone cottage and really enjoyed it. The location is great within walking distance of Traverse City downtown as well as about 6 blocks to the impressive beach/ parkway that T/C has built around the base of the bay. Good Restaurants in Town with the areas showing high energy and fun. The accommodations were very clean and organized, the breakfast was great. But the best part were the hosts, we spent an hour with them learning about the area and the history of the house. They work very hard at making sure their guests are taken care of. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be off the beaten trail with a B&B with lots of charm and warmth.
- Kim SI highly recommend this B&B! Melinda and David are tremendous innkeepers who do so many little things to make your stay with them memorable. The house is very clean and comfortable. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to downtown, the TART trail, and the lake. David is an amazing chef, so make sure to stay for breakfast! My husband and I have stayed in many B&B's, and this one is one of the best.
- Kimberly HWe had the best stay at the Aberdeen Stone cottage! The hosts, David and Melinda were so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is in a beautiful neighborhood just a short walk to downtown or the lake. We stayed over 4th of July and during the National Cherry Festival. The house was clean and quiet and the bed was super comfortable. We looked forward to David’s breakfasts every morning. - They were delicious. One morning we went to a local market to buy stuff for a picnic and Melinda was kind to let us borrow a cooler and some towels. We will definitely stay again.
